Wesley Village Historic Housing

Oklahoma City, OK

Yaeger Architecture provided architectural and interior design services for a phased renovation of this multi-story, historic apartment building.  The 85-unit development is a low-income senior housing community. Prior to design, the Yaeger team conducted a Capital Needs Assessment that included building systems, a code, life safety and ADA compliance analysis, and created existing building drawings.

$4.2 Million

All improvements were specified in a manner that met or exceeded all applicable HUD and Oklahoma Housing Finance Agency (OHFA) construction and architectural requirements and all applicable building codes. Renovation design has addressed these factors, including designated ADA accessible apartment units along with ADA-compliant building access.

The project team was recognized by Oklahoma Historical Society for Stewardship of the State’s Heritage and received the 2016 State Historic Preservation Officer’s Citation of Merit.
