Truman Heritage Habitat for Humanity Work Day

Yaeger Architecture on September 12, 2017

Yaeger team members and friends volunteered our time and skills last weekend to work at a Truman Heritage Habitat for Humanity construction site.  The house, located in Independence, MO, is receiving an addition consisting of two bedrooms and a bathroom.  One Yaeger crew helped install the floor joists and subfloor for the addition while another crew worked on adding siding to the exterior of the home.

The Yaeger team thoroughly enjoyed the experience of working together with our neighbors to help a family build a quality affordable home in a safe and supportive community.

Truman Heritage Habitat for Humanity welcomes construction volunteer groups and teaches all the building skills necessary on-site.  Individuals may also volunteer every Wednesday and the last Saturday of the month.  Construction work days are typically from 8:30 am – 3:00 pm and the tasks vary.  For more information on Truman Heritage Habitat for Humanity, visit: www.trumanhabitat.org.
