As a sub-consultant to Premier Engineering Consultants, LLC, Yaeger Architecture, Inc. was the author of, and provided, a 35% level of architectural and interior design for the Air Operations Support Facility at Whiteman Air Force Base. This project was a task order issued through an AE Services IDIQ with the Kansas City District USACE.
Design work included the programmatic requirements for the new construction of the 79,190 gross square foot building and all associated sitework. The building will consolidate functions into a single mission-focused building, providing a single facility for flight and training tasks for each Unit. The facility is intended to be similar to an office-type building in the private sector community including office space, conference and training rooms, and air crew facilities. It will have a 50-year useful life.
