Yaeger team members and friends volunteered our time and skills last weekend to work at a Truman Heritage Habitat for Humanity construction site. The house, located in Raytown, MO, is being repaired after it was damaged in a fire. The Yaeger crew helped remove the smoky drywall ceiling and walls to the studs and remove the insulation inside the walls.
The Yaeger team thoroughly enjoyed the experience of working together with our neighbors to help a family build a quality affordable home in a safe and supportive community.
Truman Heritage Habitat for Humanity welcomes construction volunteer groups and teaches all the building skills necessary on-site. Individuals may also volunteer every Wednesday and the last Saturday of the month. Construction work days are typically from 8:30 am – 3:00 pm and the tasks vary.
